About
Who makes Lunaia
Lunaia is a small, independent project built in the European Union. There is no growth team behind it and no advertising network buying what you log — and that shape is most of the reason your data can stay on your phone.
Imagery direction: quiet still life and environments. Hands and objects, never a stock portrait.
Why trust it
Three things that are true
Not a claim about scale. These are the working rules the app is built under.
Every health claim carries a named source
Nothing in the app states a fact about your body without saying where it came from. Each article ends on its sources, and each one shows when it was last reviewed.
A clinician reads it before you do
Health content passes a human clinician’s review before it ships, and it stays hedged on purpose: “tends to” and “often” are accurate where “will” is not.
Reviewed by clinician name, credential · date
Built in the EU, under GDPR
Lunaia is developed and hosted in the European Union, and what you log is treated as special-category health data. If you turn sync on, it goes to Lunaia’s own server and stays in the EU.
Limits
What Lunaia is not
- Not a medical service
- Lunaia can help you notice a pattern and describe it to someone qualified. It does not diagnose, and it is not a substitute for care.
- Not contraception
- Fertile-window estimates are predictions from your own logs. They can shift as your cycles vary and must not be used to prevent pregnancy.
- Not a social network
- There is no feed, no profile anyone else can see and no way to share what you logged by accident.
