Terms of service

What you agree to by using Lunaia, and what Lunaia does not claim to be.

This is a draft

The final text is being written and will go through legal review before it is published. What follows is the document’s structure only — nothing below is in force, and nothing below yet states what Lunaia commits to.

Who we are

This section will name the company behind Lunaia, where it is registered and how it is reached.

Your account

This section will cover creating an account, keeping it, and what happens to it if you stop using the app.

Lunaia is not a medical service

This section will state, in the operative language a lawyer will settle, two things that are true of every version of these terms: Lunaia is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, and its predictions are estimates that must not be relied on as contraception.

Acceptable use

This section will describe the small number of things you may not do — chiefly attacking the service or using it to harm someone else.

Availability and changes

This section will set expectations about uptime, planned changes, and how notice of a material change is given.

Liability

This section will set the limits of liability, in the form the applicable law allows.

Governing law

This section will name the governing law and the venue for a dispute.
